Lara comes to Tellwell with fourteen years' experience working for a major international book publisher, first as a proofreader and then as an editor.

While she specializes in editing romance, Lara has edited books across many genres, including thrillers, erotica, fantasy and non-fiction. She has also published a novel, so she knows what it feels like to be on the other side of the fence.

Although she will always find a way to write in some capacity, Lara's favourite thing to do is help others polish their books to perfection. Lara holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree from Carleton University.
