Tim has more than a decade of experience in media and publishing. He has helped over 350 authors understand the self-publishing industry, helping them develop and execute a plan with the help of editors, designers and marketers.
He understands writing a book is a labour of love for authors, and his mission is to make the publishing process enjoyable, informative and easy. Tellwell brings together a creative and talented team on each book, adding a personal approach so authors feel supported every step of the way.
Tim founded Tellwell in January 2015 to give authors a better self–publishing experience. He found larger companies don’t give the best deal when it comes to royalties and printing rates, and they are often not transparent about who is designing and editing each book.
Tellwell gives authors up to 100% net royalties (“net” means after the retailer and printer take their share). That means Tellwell is objective and neutral when advising authors how to best distribute and sell books.
Tim is excited to work alongside a wonderfully talented team at Tellwell and is proud of the books published.
